On arrival at Siliguri (NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport), you will be met by our driver who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok. On arrival check into the hotel and enjoy the day at leisure. GANGTOK: At an altitude of 1750 m, Gangtok became the state capital in the mid-19th century and has undergone rapid development since then — the downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a gateway for people travelling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by monasteries and orchids, Gangtok is truly a traveller's delight.
Breakfast at the hotel and full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake), 35 kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snow off the surrounding mountains. Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the colour of the lake's waters.Note: zero point extra cost ₹4,000–4,500 (per vehicle).
Breakfast at the hotel, later drive to Pelling, stopping en route for sightseeing as time permits. Pelling is a small town in West Sikkim offering some of the closest views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. On arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy.
Optional sightseeing via Namchi (Char Dham) & Ravangla (Buddha Park) 3500 extra cost.
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a half-day sightseeing tour of Pelling covering the Pemayangtse Monastery, Kecheopalri Lake and the Pelling Skywalk (subject to time and weather). Thereafter, proceed to Darjeeling. Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or the "Toy Train," completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world's highest peaks. On arrival
Pickup starts at 4:00 AM for an early morning visit to Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and the Himalayan range, including Kanchendzonga and Mount Everest. One can see the horizon changing colours just before sunrise, and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, the oldest monastery in the area, built in 1875, home to a 15 ft. image of Maitreya Buddha, then visit Batasia Loop and transfer to the hotel.
